There are a group of us trying to set up a meet near pittsburgh Pa. any one who is interested should add their name. We are posibly so far talking about a meet at south park and having a cook out. i am in the process of seeing if there are any pavilions open between may and july. any help would be apprechiated.

If everyone is willing to throw in a few bucks, I'll get us some excellent meat (its way better than you can get from like your local Shop N Save or Giant Eagle). The possible menu would be burgers, hot dogs, sausage, and kielbasa, if that sounds good to everyone. My girlfriend also offered to cook, and trust me, she can cook!

And this is open to people from outside of Pittsburgh as well, so hopefully we'll see some of our Ohio and New York friends as well and even people from further away.

Just looked up some info. a sheltered grove is only 25 dollars for a day. at south park. if i can get more info on when we could set up the meet like what day. i will call and reserve a grove.

Does it have good, close parking? It'd be cool to get some nice shots of all the cars together and everything.

there are like 30 sites in the wholepark. id try to get a big lot real close

i'm down for this. i'm pretty close to south park. That menu sounds just fine, I'd be willing to pitch in a few bucks for food. We all could even bring some stuff if everyone agrees and we organize it right. I'm really looking forward to this, hope it'll work out... I just got an idea, we could make this kind of like a little mini swap meet. If you've got anything, and I mean anything, that you want to sell, bring it. But also bring cash in case theres something you want to buy. I know I have a few things that I could get rid of, so if anyone else wants to do this, just bring it.

im gonna call tomorow and try to get a pavilion. hopfully with or close to a big lot.

Maybe the first or second Saturday in July? The 4th is on a Tuesday, so it could sort of be like a 4th of July meet, unless too many people will have plans for those weekends already.

Im not sure if I'll make either event yet but im just reminding you all the all chryslers is the 2nd weekend in july. This pittsburgh meet sounds good. Hope everything works out if I dont make it.

Ok The First Anual Pittsburgh Meet/Swap Will be held Saturday, July/01/2006.

It Will Be Held At South Park. Still figuring out exactly were. Either One Of The Two Large parking lots (1st by the ice skating Rink) (2nd by Field) or a pavillion if avalible.

I understand some people may allready have plans for this weekend because of the 4th. but the 8th is the all chrysler show. How many people would show then.

And if we do end up by the field, that would be cool because if theres enough guys, we could get a game of something going on.

I made a post in the midwest forum to maybe get some Ohio guys to come, I know theres a few from Akron and Cleveland so maybe they'll show.

Another idea is you/we could invite some of the local ASEC people. The few I met seem preety cool.

Yeah, let me know your thoughts on food. We can do it simple with just hotdogs and burgers or we can also get kielbasa and sausage as well. But I obviously wouldn't get it until closer to the meet and when we have a pretty final list of people coming then I'll get a quote on how much. Shouldn't be much. Does anyone have some sort of grill they can bring with them? Maybe one of those little ones with the small propane tank.

I hope we get more. We probably will though, its still over two months away. I'm excited I'll get to actually pop my hood since I actually have something other than stock to show off (my new intake). I guess this means I HAVE to get some wire loom and do a little dressing up now.

There's still a possiblity I'll make it. I need to find a new engine definalely a 3.0L , get it put in and make sure everything is running smoothly. If all that gets done before July I'll be there.

The zip code is 15102, I believe. I'm from the other side of the city so I'm not too familiar with the area, but from what my dad tells me and what I've found on a map program we have, thats it. I'm going to have a couple maps posted up soon too.
